We are looking for a competent Working Supervisor to coordinate operations and oversee workers on a number of projects in South East/West London and the southern Home Counties.
You will be the key person for the completion of the project. As the working construction supervisor you have a solid background in your trade. You will be flexible and have the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organised with paperwork, time, materials and labour.
Coordinate tasks according to plans and trade available
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Ensure labour and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to the project Contracts Manager
Proven experience as a construction foreman
Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and H&S guidelines
Ability to read drawings, plans and schedules
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Problem-solving abilities
Good physical condition and stamina
Skilled in your trade (electrician, bricklayer, carpenter etc.)
SSSTS qualification and CSCS card
